Haney to Harrison Relay 100km

Haney to Harrison (H2H in short) is a very popular race consisting of either a 100km 8-person relay or 100km Ultra. It is my first time doing this race. Ray and I were in a team called "Trailer Trashed" with 6 other members from Rackets and Runners. The team wore mullets to represent a trashy look. The race started in Haney which is in Maple Ridge and ended in Harrison Hot Springs with a total distance of 100km divided into 8 legs. The weather did not turn out that great. It was sure a miserable day and I was hoping the rain would ease up for my stage which was the last leg but the rain kept going. Despite the bad weather, the team spirit was way up there and we supported each other for their legs. If you go to the raceheadquarters website, you would be able to see our team that came 153rd/245 overall and 26th/41 for the Open Mixed category. Ray did stage 7 (distance of 13.31km) with an awesome time of 57:06mins and placed at 21st/245 overall, 20th/158 for males and 8th/41 for open mixed category. As for me, I did the last stage which was stage 8 (distance of 8.03km) with a time of 43:43mins and placed at 133th/245 overall, 56th/138 for females and 26th/41 for the open mixed category. As usual, I am sore from this race and have to recover for my next race scheduled on Nov 18th called New Balance Fall Classic at UBC.
